Blackbox
Blackbox is a creative production agency for film and video content. Both company directors Adam Lyons and Francesca Hotchin are graduates from the Graphic and Communication Design course at the University of Leeds. This is how Blackbox got started and their business has evolved from working with local start-ups, producing one-off bespoke designs and videos, to then creating full creative campaigns for global brands.
Examples of their work to date include video production for Rolls Royce, creative campaigns for UCC Coffee, Amazon documentaries for Leeds United, and branding for Sky TV show A Town Called Malice. Various creative services for local businesses include Renaissance Arts, Humpit, Yum Yums, The Firm, Headrow House, Belgrave Music Hall, North Brew Co. and Leeds City Council. Blackbox has also collaborated with residents of LCVS offices such as Laser Dog, Mike Lawton and Independent Life.
LCVS has helped Blackbox get to where they are today from when they first heard about them through Independent Life, who were moving into a Dock Street office. This affordable professional space to bring clients into and the community of businesses here have been invaluable to Blackbox’s growth and workplace enjoyment.
