Jaydon Rowbottom

Originally from a small town in the Midlands and now based in Leeds, Jaydon Rowbottom brings businesses, brands and objects to life with designs and illustrations that are full of character, simplicity and playful interactions. From a very early age, being creative is something that Jaydon truly enjoyed, it was all he ever wanted to do. Every Christmas Jaydon’s mum would buy him paints, art books or materials to make anything he could think of. For years he would create costumes, paintings, sculptures and animations. He knew that he was going to be an artist.

When Jaydon reached higher education, on courses that were beneficial to his development, he felt that exploring his creativity is something he could do as a career. Jaydon felt like he belonged once reaching university, which resulted in his graduation from Leeds Beckett with a First in Graphic Art & Design in 2018. Since then he has been working hard to build his business.

Jaydon has always been ambitious about increasing the scale and volume of his work. As he gets more established and his ability to work faster and more consistently increases, the opportunities to make larger murals, printed matter and designs grow in tandem.

Future plans for Jaydon Rowbottom are to go bigger! Continuing to grow the scale of what he creates is something that excites him. The idea of creating a large-scale mural or monolithic sculpture makes Jaydon content in knowing that he’ll have left his mark on the world.

Jaydon first heard about LCVS Enterprises whilst working at the arts & crafts shop Fred Aldous which accommodated for countless interesting creatives. He would often talk about his search for a studio space and most conversations pointed in the direction of Aire Street Workshops. Securing a space was fantastic because it increased the professionalism of his business and has done wonders for his mental health as he slowly figures out how to separate work from life.
