Aire Street Workshops

Located only a minutes walk from Leeds Railway Station, Aire Street Workshops are handy for all city centre transport links. The building was developed in 1981, opened by Lord Bellwin and owned by Leeds City Council.

It was refurbished using grants from the Department of the Environment and the City Council. There are 26 units averaging 400 square feet on four floors. Aire Street also has a lift and stairs to all floors and there is very limited parking available. Parking permits are allocated to a limited number of licensees. Visitors parking permits are required for all loading and unloading (limited to 30 minutes duration). Permits available from the Manager on request.

Dock Street Workshops

Developed in a Grade Two listed building near Leeds Bridge and the River Aire, about 10 minutes walk from the Leeds Railway Station, even closer to the main bus station.

The building, gifted by Tetley’s Brewery and completely rebuilt with D.O.E. and City Council grants houses 29 business units of 350 square feet average on
three floors.

There is a lift and stairs to all floors. Dock Street also has limited parking facilities for licensees. Dock Street car park has benefit of an automated security gate to the car park.
